More rumours of Terry Henry to United today, got mixed feelings on it really. A couple of years ago him and Rooney would be  , but he's lost a bit of pace now. I'm sure Robbo would love to see him join us.......

Linked with silva again, lots of negative media attention on the board vs rafa again, not sure there is anything in it though, seems more likely we are just trying to get the barry price down 
Dan I think henry could still be lethal in the PL tbh.

I think your right. Just watched a few clips of him in Spain last year and the style of their league just doesn't suit him, he was made for the EPL imo.

hes said several times he'll never play for anyone in this country except for arsenal so it wont happen, he even has a clause in his contract at barca allowing him to not play against arsenal should barca draw them

david silva is a quality player but for the same money i think id rather have barry who can do a similar job as well as 2 others along with epl experience
wenger saying he wont sign anyone this week but acknoweldges his interest in barry and goklan inhler

I remember him saying that when he left but he hasn't looked the same player in Spain and a return to the EPL may be what he needs. I thinh it would be met with mixed feelings from United fans though.

I heard about that clause! I still think he'll be back in an Arsenal shirt one day...thats the only way he'll play EPL again..

It's nowhere near as bad as neville playing for liverpool, largely cos' he's nowhere near good enough anymore and for the fact that anfield would get burnt down before he ever joined, seriously

That clause does not exist, simply because its not allowed under just about every football associations rules. Its classed as third party control over a player.

Yeah loan players cant play against the club that owns them as is a conflict of interests.
I suppose Henry himself could of insisted on a clause meaning he cant be picked, but Id seriously doubt any professional player and self respecting club would allow it.

Supposedly Henry asked for a clause whereby he can choose not to play against Arsenal, not a clause from us preventing it
Whether its true or not i dont know but hes always said he wudnt play against us

How so?
If he loved you lot so much he wouldnt of left.
He is being paid a shit load of money per week to be a professional player and to go out and perform to the best of his ability by the club playing him against any team that is put infront of him. For him to put clauses in saying he wont against certain teams is ridiculous.
