How often do you drive everywhere on full lock? Like driving in circles
Still not sure when mine catches, I've never heard it happen so I'm unsure

Looks perfect now IMO any lower is too low
still think a normal plate with slightly smaller numb/letters would look better than current

Cheers all. Yeah the plate does look pretty rubbish tbh, but I don't want a private plate, partly due to the cost and partly due to needing to keep transferring it onto other cars.
Gav, the tyres rubbed 3 or 4 times a day. Pulling on and off the drive and also when going into the car park in my workplace. The sound is awful and everyone thinks there is something wrong with the car.

Just drove through my town and into work and didn't catch the front bumper on a single speedbump.
Such a great feeling. Definitely staying like this
Loved the way it sat on the fk springs, but i'd only put them on if all speedbumps were removed.

i'm sure. Front bumper needs a respray and I need a new heatshield for the underside. Not worth the worry having it lower.

Finally booked the car in to have a 4 wheel alignment carried out.
Went with a place called 'Skidmarques' in Brentwood as they seem to get great reviews and have a lot of modified/lowered cars in.
Can't wait. Steering is awful. Pulls to the left which isn't very nice at all

i love the sound of bumper scraping on ramps and then the noise of the exhaust scraping when coming of it. Dont like the sound of my sump smashing of the ground though lol

Wtf Jamie I get all sorts of weird looks and people asking whether somethings broken underneath. Not to mention the bumper pulling off the plastic side hinges whenever I go over a particularly large bump.

So yeah, cars fucked
Went to get a wheel alignment done and after a check, the guy said the front wishbone bushes and rear trailing arm bushes are shot and need replacing.
He said he can fit uprated 'super pro' poly bushes and do a wheel alignment after, so may get that done rather than fit normal oem ones.
Didn't charge me any money which was good of them.

I drove it for over a year with the fk's on. No wonder I used to get aches in my arms
Think i'm going to go ahead with getting the polybushes fitted. Should give sharper handling and a better feel through the steering wheel.

Yeah more than likely. Nobody has mentioned the condition of my bushes when it's been up on ramps so I'm not sure how they are.
Poly bushes are meant to be abit brutal ain't they?

With your past complaints about Comfort, I wouldn't be fitting Polybushes. Theyvcan make the ride a little less comfortable on normal, crappy roads.

I did ask the fitter about the comfort of polybushes and he said these are designed not to be much/if any harsher than oem.
They do a track set and performance set for daily cars. Been reading up on them and they get great reviews from the vag scene.
Anything must be better than worn out oem ones
