because if you searched for "official rules to be a supercar" in google id image it would feature highly

however link upon link in google suggest supercar is down to opinion

Supercar is a term used for a high-end sports car, typically a Skoda Fabia VRS

I would question the editorial ability of an author who makes such a profound statement without appearing to substantiate it in any way. We've no idea what exact test it passed and whether this does in fact make it 'official'.

We don't know in whose list it is official. We don't know what other cars are in there. I suspect many, which in itself tells me that its not a proper classification.

I think the one thing that is clear is that it is open to personal interpretation and a great many people are justifiably exercising that right.

I'd say the p1 is a hyper car because of the type of alloy used in manufacturing the wheels and the fact that it has a reverse gear.
