Toast the bread and butter it and then inprint the toast stamper on it OR do it before you toast it. Therefore leaves the shapes on the bread for an aesthetically pleasing meal.

Oh I thought the pattern would be imprinted by it toasting certain areas more then others. Not by flattening it
