ah, your be gutted to find its in my garage and the engine build has allready progressed

i think your spending £££ on something for the name, where as it will get you no benifit at all with your spec of engine, it will on a billion BHP evo, not a 400bhp 20 year old design, the parameters on omex are far beond your needs anyway

FYI I'm going on recommendation from the people who will be tuning my engine, not something I've read off a website.

ive owned 2 omex systems and had them mapped at diffrent places, i know the benifits too, FYI

im trying to save you £££, and give you greater choice of mappers and agents, it doesnt really affect me

at the end of the day though muppet made 400bhp on hampster and wheel management, so no need for any of this really

i didnt mean to rush it i meant just save £600+ to use on something else

and not sure if you will get any benifit from the extra outlay, espically as the only autronic mapper uses live mapping unless you book a RR and bring him in ??

anyway, im off to powdercoat some needless brackets

Theres more then one autronic mapper.

And I dont see your point, if live mapping is the way it goes whats the problem?

because although it gives you data on the road you may not get on the rollers, you cant load the engine at any type of similar situation or for a given amount of time, as you cant predict the roads, and whats going to go on them, where as you can when your strapped to a set of rollers

what alot of people do is either map the engine on a engine dyno, or on a RR, and then fine tune it, if need be, live

anyway, im just trying to help

Yeah, I'm abit wary of these tuners offering a scratch map for the price they have offered. Its a major temptation to go to a tuner closer to me so if I encounter massive issues it isnt going to take a day off to sort out/transport
