to be fair, i think hard tops do look generally better, and my dad has a convertable and when your sitting it you do feel a bit exposed and a bit of a knob. However when your on a motorway, doing 100+ and its sunny and hot its awesome! Also when going through the tunnel or changing gear you get a grin from ear to ear, every time you hear the engine , So i think if you can get past the being seen, i think the convertable is a better driving experience but hardtops look better

I wish my Cab had a decent engine. A good engined Cab would be awesome. Like an M3 or something.

Ugly people say it's what's on the inside that counts.
Poor people say money doesn't buy you hapiness
....... people say convertibles are gay.

I realy really really miss my Z/M3
Convertibles are great
Really? Pretty sure the English argue it was they and not the italians that truely invented the sports car genre with small 2 seater convertibles.
What's more quintessentially British (post war) than a moustachio'd cad in a roadster?

i disagree or have more money than i realise!
Car: £1900*
insurance: £450 includes my 21yr old gf as a named driver
mpg: 30-35 ~ £50 to fill up with todays prices ~300miles to a tank
tyres: last 12months and cost £150 for all four corners fully fitted
tax: £180
service costs: its a Mazda.....it doesn't break down so just the regular oil and filter changes as required.
*although if i wasn't so fussy on condition could get the same car for half that
not an expensive car to run (certainly when you take out the cost of the high fuel prices) and considering i could have got one at half the price, very cheap indeed.

Wrong Pete, you're loaded mate. Forget those calculations, you're actually showering yourself in coins every day, aren't you?
