What's the gloves like mate, are these them?

I was looking at them the other day, look decent for the money. But I don't have a suede steering wheel at the moment so don't know if they're suitable. It's mainly cause my hands get so sweaty on track

Yea there the 1's mate they seem good to me, i didnt wanna go mad on gloves beacause having got a leather stearing wheel i prefere using bare hands, the time attack im looking enter requires you to wear glooves, race boots etc.

I have a leather steering wheel at the moment but it still looks like it would grip nicely. Then I want a suede one at some point & they'd still be suitable. I'll probs get some if they seem decent quality then

No real progress on this im affraid, but ive picked my rear beam up from the powder coaters now

Bit of an up date after today lads

Firstly my Ferodo DS2500 front pads for my wilwoods came today



I then gave the calliper brakets for my rear disc conversion a quick lick of paint.



Then built the rear beam back up, fitting both hubs, brakets and anti roll bar







I then fitted beam back to the car along with the new rear coilovers, wheel studs and new drilled and grooved discs. Nice and freash




Thats all for now, more progress soon

when you'v got this back on the ground would you mind having a look at the tracking on the rear wheels as im curious as to how much toe in or toe out the rear will have after cutting off and welding on new rear plates for warping and such... as tracking on the rear is just as important as tracking on the front. as im still thinking if i should do my conversion or not.

i do like the rear disc setup your runnig it is far better way of doing it than using the old gsi stuff like i have what are the rear hubs off mate

cant see it myself, that beam wont be flexing enough for it to make a massive difference

surely the arb needs to attach independantly from the beam at the ends

I will post it when i drop the car down, im having all the tracking, camber and corner weight setup once its done so i may have to use a spacers here or there on the back to get them perfect but wont see until its tracked, hopefully im not a million miles away

Its a kit that uses the Astra 4+5 (G+H) rear disc set up and hubs if i remember correctley mate.

Yea you have to weld on the conversion plates mate, look a page or so back.
