Won't be getting a diesel, 330Ci seem to be a lot more common and cheaper obviously because of the cost of running them but it will literally be a weekend car so expense isn't an issue so might as well have the 330Ci.
That one I just posted on AutoTrader would be perfect.

330Ci is nice but thirsty-ish. Sound wonderful, I had a saloon 325 before the diesel and it sounded good too.
The breather hoses up top on the 6cyl petrols perish iirc, certainly my mechanics seen a few in with the problem.

TBH even £11k M3s are gonna be a brave proposition, almost be willing to lay down money not one of them at that price will have the running in service done or be Vcar clear.

That's a load of bull that claim. My mates one has a fsh including running in service and it's up for £11k.
The Market for them has dropped a lot in the last few months.

Running in service is not a be all and end all. Only really an issue if it was in warrenty. Mine was nearly 80k and never skipped a beat. I sold mine for £13k in March 09 only thing wrong with it was a leaky washer bottle

these people who make these claims etc do they actually look on classifieds before posting ????? if not how can you comment.....
mere fact is cars like an m3 are getting cheaper because of the economy NOT people trying to rip you off/sell a dud!!!!!
yeah for sure there are some out there who are dodgy but not everyone is called nigel lol some people are selling legit and fact is if the going rate is 10k for a certain year/spec/mileage then it has to be 10k if you put it up for 15k your simply not going to sell are you.......
seriously go type into autotrader m3 with less than 100k miles less than 10 years old etc etc are you telling me all 30 odd m3's for 10 are dodgy?

Perfect! get it bought.
Then get clear side repeater bulbs, clear indicator bulbs front and back, nothing worse than the amber bulbs in them!
I picked up all 6 bulbs on ebay for a tenner!

I'm deffo getting one, I sat down yesterday and thought about over options like getting another Astra GSi or a Clio 182 and I was like
I can't be arsed with that anymore, the Mini is a NICE car, NICE cars are what I want and getting a 330Ci with under 100k in good condition with all the toys for £5k is a no brainer.
If I want to tinker I'll tinker with the Mini now, already got a Dave F airbox but there is no reason why I couldn't use the Beemer on track it's as quick as a standard Astra VXR and I used to be about to get past 95% of things in my Astra so why not.
