Th aka for the comments guys! Its been 10 weeks since I've driven it and about 8 since I've seen it!
The running it in is going to be very hard, 240 mile home drive. So I need to not get bored&tempted to put my for down

500 keepin below 300rpm.
Then increasing rpm every hundred miles.
Probably overkill but I'm not taking anychancea on it.
After about 1200 miles i hope to have cams dialled in and remap

In always with AC, but I always go over and look at the CS stand too
Yeh it's sat on mo.s at moment. Not driven for almost 3 months, and was off road 6 months last year so looking forward to driving it again. You must know about the agonising wait though Danny, so I won't complain too much

lee303 had a much more engine running in proceedure which theres quite a bit of technical back up too, and i see, to remember his running in took 1/4 of a mile and about 10 mins, might be worth a read

So two ways.
1. Push engine hard, going against other advice, potentially ruining engine.
2. Take it easy an suffer a tiny bit less power, but not risk the above?
Think I'll choose 2nd safe option

Q: What is the most common cause of engine problems ???
A: Failure to:
Warm the engine up completely before running it hard !!!
Q: What is the second most common cause of engine problems ???
A: An easy break in !!!
