Had a good look round the Weekend Racer stand at Trax, was some very tidy motors and as always nice to see the Corsa from the forum
I didn't get any pictures, as I spent most of the day watching the track, arena and walking round trade.
There were our entry pics
If anyone got any pics of mine or Emma's please stick them in here

Tonight was my last trip out with my Weekend Affair, it's time for her to go into hibernation again for the winter. Hopefully she'll be back out in the spring with some new mods ready for the 2014 season

2014 Show Season
Over the winter whilst she's in the lock up, I am looking at ideas for next season. I have tried to make the Corsa look very stock/OEM+ whilst keeping it smooth & clean, but it has become to plain for my liking and I have decided I want to do some colour coding so it grabs a bit more attention at shows.
Sticking with stock colours, I have gone for Porsche GT3 RS Blue. The idea is to get the wheels, showcage, front/rear strut brace and the triangle in the middle of the RX8 seats done. I still want it to look very clean, smooth and OEM+ with the colour coding to give it that nice offset against the black and a bit more "showy".
I have done a Photoshop, but its not the best example.
The Colour;
Example;
Opinions welcome, cheers

Maybe if you fit Porsche wheels then the colour would be quite smart on the wheels. On speed lines it just looks cheap

I have been looking for a set to swap and yes this was my original idea. But many people consider the Speedlines to be the iconic wheel for the Nova and Corsa B, so I wanted to keep them

Keep them but not if you decide to go blue with them.
Porsche 928 wheels could work in blue possibly

928s haven't been overdone yet IMO. D90s are too popular now
Cookie cutters are lovely too but probably wouldn't suit the look of the car

Thanks Dan, any opinion on the wheels?
I think it will all depend on money as to if I keep the Speedlines or manage to get a set of Porsche wheels.

What are the other designs that work well? I've not really considered any others, but I've seen other Porsche rims on Corsa. What did Ben have on his Black B, twists?
