Anti terror raids happening all over Western Europe. Sky News can't seem to keep up with them all.

Isn't that a bit of a oxymoron? I mean, "a sensible government"?!
And unfortunately it is and would be a slippery slope once the law is written in that the government is able to censor the output of media, even if marginal as you're suggesting, as it wouldn't take much for what ever government is in power to adjust it to gain more control.

But countries only exist in the same way as religion does. Why is fighting for one more valid than the other?

Land is a real life object with actual value and resources.
Religion is a made up entity.

Yes land is a real life entity, it's the idea of a country that's made up. I think you're missing my point Steven

Even if you ignore the principle of countries and boundaries, humans have to live somewhere, that means there will always be areas occupied by other humans where they have something and resources you need that you dont have.

Didn't you just say you'd expect other people to know? I'm certain that's what it says right there.
I can't tell if you're intentionally vague or just don't have a very strong opinion.

The consequences. The ones you expect other people to understand. What are they?

But if there truly was no boundary, what would stop you from going and taking your own resources from the same pool as the other group?
I need to stop, this is making me look like a hippie douche
Do you ever get the feeling a thread has gone off topic?

Religion exists. It's the made up people in the sky who don't.

Just a bit it'll soon come back on topic when the Islamists start wanking about Mohammed and Allah again and decide to kill some more innocent people.

As Stephen Fry said....

And being offended certainly doesn't give anyone the right to kill

The point being, lads is what someone may decide to do if they are offended, and how seriously they make take said offence.
I'm not arguing about the seriousness of being called a wanker for Christ's sake.

What if the offence is considered so great that someone is prepared to commit violence, or even murder over it. is it still "Well, so fucking what" then?
And being offended certainly doesn't give anyone the right to kill
I didn't say it did.
