Ahh, orange will probably send it away and fix it. Defo worth going to an apple shop if you can, they just replace with a brand new one there and then.

have you tried putting it in a bowl of rice?

I'll probably be going to Manchester soon so I'll go in then if I do. Heard about Orange sending them off to be looked at instead of just giving you a new handset, thats what puts me off.

Bought 4 in total, the other 3 will pay for mine and a bit more so if its shit...no loss.

was tempted by this but just worry about the warranty, people say just replace original cover but would worry me that its voided as my previous iphone 4 had to be swapped twice.
.

I ended up cancelling my order as I was one of the first to order yet after 10 days and over 1400 orders having been sent out mine still hadn't been dispatched, fuckers.

Well look what still turned up this morning

What's going on here exactly? You have 4 iPhone 4S for sale at £45? And you got an iPhone 4S for free with a £21 a month contract? Shenanigans.

£45 just to make the back of the phone light up?

I think I've seen it all now.

I'm gutted I let them go for that much as they were literally gone in less than 2 hours on BIN. Apart from one which my mate was round within the hour to buy and have me fit for him.

Pah, didn't cost me anything anyway.

EDIT: This made me realised people will buy anything with a glowing Apple logo so I bought a load of these:

and these

and these

All of which I listed on Friday night and were sold by Sunday morning.

Then got an email from ebay kindly asking me to stop (OK it was more like 'Apple have been In touch so stop or you're fucked) .

These phones are terrible, battery used to last 2 days before needing to be charged at night, updated to 5.0.1, jailbroke and it needs charging twice a day now.

Had 70% battery before I went to bed, 8 hours later I wake up to no alarm because the battery is dead.

Mines jailbroken on 5.0.1, it's currently on 3% with heavy use but hasnt been charged since Thursday night.

That said it has got slightly worse since 4.3.3.

What network are you on noshua?

I had 2 4S's with shocking battery life, couldn't solve it.

Switched from t-mobile to giffgaff, battery instantly got better, in line with the reports in here now.

I could make it 2 days at a push with normal usage.
