fitted spare head on today so i could chech clearances with manifold/turbo/rad/ic

ended up having to pull the bottom of the ic out by about 3 inches to be able to get the fans in the front

old bracket is the black one

and how the ic sits, just hope the pipes reach it now

think it needs a clean too

also tidyed the fans wiring up just need to solder them into the car loom now

Ben could you pm me the price on the head gasket that your now going to be using.

Ps, dont solder in the connectors for the fans, make a seperate sub loom with connectors, be easier to remove in situe then.

well only got the inlet back at 4 so have done a few hours on it tonight

inlet with the fitting moved over

then bollted it to the head and fitted it

the tourqued it all up

then the fun part of timing it up, managed to borrow a dial gauge and stand

then adjusted the verniers

then got all the back of the engine sorted, alt fuel rail, injectors, vacumes, water hoses etc

and this is how ive left it for the night still need to tighten all the ex manifold bolts as its taking forever as i dont want to cratch the coating on it

sooooo tight down the back of here with the alt, 2 water pipes wiring loom

just got to fit wastegate, down pipe, finish ex manifold, rad,and intercooler and should be out it it tomorow evening
