What bait? The proof is right there!
Higuain: £30m - fair price? yes, went to Napoli
L.Gustavo: £17m - fair price? yes, i think so, went to Wolfsburg
Julio Cesar: £3m - fair price? yes, still at QPR
None of those 3 clubs are even in the same stratosphere as Arsenal!!! Those 3 alone could have been had for less than the £50m+ it WILL take to sign Suarez and that is what is absolutely inexcusable!
I udnerstand he went for Suarez over Higuain and was pissed off that RM (fairly!) put up their asking price but quite frankly we have been led up the garden path re. 'the clause', fair enough but now do what it takes to get him. Gustavo, i dunno maybe he has other alternatvies but i dont see what they are givne we already had a bid turned down for L.Bender and let Fellaini's clause lapse.
With Mannone and Gervinho raising £10m, that would have been net spend of £40m and we have plenty of scope for wages as we got rid of so many players... add a £10m defender (RB or CB, whatevs) that would be net £50m, still WAY below the minimum £70m we have, that additional £20m could eb another influential creative midfielder/winger and that coupled with Wenger would have won us the league this season or next :/
inexcusable at eveyr turn. he says this monrign he wants 2/3 more if not more. fine, we need 3 ABSOLUTE minumum, 5 preferably (in the positions above) as if Spurs keep Bale, we are fucked at present and if Suarez strays then Liverpool may even get relatively close, but as the mad trolley dahs 2 years ago showed, for every Mertesacker and Arteta there is a JY Park and Andre Santos :/

I've not even seen that many jokes around about Arsenal this summer, probably because they're not needed, they're doing the jokes themselves.

30+ players have left the club this Summer, including youngsters. Consequently our U21 team have been spanke din all of their pre-seaosn games, and they include a few of the players whol will be on the bench tomorrow :/
