Will be interesting this summer for Arsenal, imo if fabregas and nasri leave that may trigger things with RVP and maybe the other worthwhile player you no boubt have

Not to mention arshavin being a muppet and always wanting to move

Seems like a very low offer for mediocre shite from Liverpool tbh, this makes me question it's validity. I think it was probably closer to £25m.

Bendtner

Bendtner is a Arsenal Legend. Without doubt the best forward you have ever had on your books

£35m would be more realistic. O BTW is he match fit and unlikely to be involved in a boat brawl in Barbados? That knocks a few million off Hi Chris

this is my problem with Liverpool

Fair one. I couldn't name many players in lower leagues unless we sold them.

That's funny. I suppose everyone has there own perceptions of other fans, I personally feel that many of our (good) fans are interested in and respect players from other teams. We probably get alot of stick because we generally don't like england but that doesn't mean we don't respect some of the players

Downing

He's our first priority for the wing apparently. He'll add a good bit of balance and be a decent player for us (my honest assessment).

United paid £15m odd for Young who had one year on his contract. I don't think we'll pay much more than that for Downing who arguably performed more consistently for Villa and has 2 years left on his deal (but he's almost 2 years older).

If you look at our bench the last few seasons we've not had many players who could come on and change a game/or change the dynamics of a game. We competed against most of the bigger clubs and couldn't draw the same level of performance against other teams. Players like Downing/Henderson/Adam (or those who some of them displace out of the starting 11) will provide more spark and competition for the squad and hopefully address this issue.

He's easily good enough for our squad. We are rebuilding Nath, we can't go out and buy the best players in the world atm

Lee Bowyer signing today

On a brighter note, Reo Coker is in talks.

A few Journalists suggesting 4/5 english clubs shown interest in Mata, others suggesting it's between us and Arsenal.

Also heard stuff said about us and City talking to Napoli about Lavezzi (highly doubt he'll end up coming to us though).
