Think we're about £10m short with that bid tbh. Why have we left it till that clause expired in Fellainis contract

£28m is a joke of a bid really. Top proven Premier League players for £14m each?
Not only that it would fuck Everton over for this seaaon so youve got to factor in an extra few million just for that.

"United had a £12m bid for left-back Baines knocked back in June but have come back with the same offer."

Going to be £15m for Baines. Then £20m odd for Fellaini. Unfortunately

I think £38-40m for them both would make Everton sell.
Why not just go for Fellani now and get Baines next season when hes in his last year and you can get him for a lot less?

Not even sure where Baines would fit in. Feillani makes sense though.

Evra is 32 now. Baines isn't exactly a long term solution at 28 mind
Why didn't we go for Fellaini before the clause expired in his contract

McEvoy looks like Bales love child

Maybe they should sell him to Real, and say its Bale

Left sided as well although he's Irish I believe. They cracked that one on MOTD or Soccer AM or something a few weeks ago

Because his clause was for 25m or something, you're obviously trying to get him cheaper than that

The bonus of that was they had to sell him if the clause was met. Would of saved all this fucking round after the season has started for the sake of £2m, we're not going to get him a vast amount cheaper if we do manage to get him.

Its because the people at your club making the bids are cunts who don't seem to know about football. Ed Woodward I think?
I think you might of got them for 35m if you'd put that bid in straight away, I'd be holding out for 40m plus for the sake of united being dicks now if I was Kenwright though.
Think 15+20 is reasonable tbh

They won't. While they could do with additions, they're not essential. Unlike the Liverpool situation. Where they had to replace Torres with something.

If Baines wasn't English he wouldn't be worth any more than £8m absolute max :/ Ridonculous!
I do, however, agree that Fellaini is not worth his release clause

Imagine having a manager for as long as you can remember that meant you were pretty much guaranteed to win at least one trophy a season, usually the league and that a bad run of form was if you didn't win 3 games in a row! Now we don't know what to expect so it's a strange time for us at the moment

Thanks Jonny.
Do you want to donate £5, 10 or £20?
