chest/back was 6 variations of press ups, and 6 variations of pull ups.
Done in the format of pressups for 1min, pull up for 1 min.
So a total of 12 excersises, then u start again and do the 12 again.

I am finally able to start this properly today, Had to work millions of hours the past 3 weeks, and just havent had the time to do it.
The first day last time killed me for over a week, so im planning on taking it a bit easier for the first week, give my body chance to adapt to it

... if i move back with my parents in the future i'll definately start doing this again! I'll have more space to do it.

Is anyone still doing this? I was planning on starting it next week but trying to decide where to sort the pull up bar
We don't have any doorways downstairs and the ones upstairs have the glass above so a little way of putting one on there

Seems to have. I have had to fill my garage with crap as were moving, but im slowly making space again.
I really need to get back involved in either this or proper weight training.
Im just lacking time and motivation :/

I think I got to about 3 weeks in to my second round and was still noticing improvements - then I couldn't really fit it in to my schedule so stopped it.
Intend to restart the modified version i was doing the second time round in the next few weeks.

Right, thanks for bumping this as been meaning to update this thread.
Starting the second round proper on Monday, some slight modifications to the plan but in general its going to follow the same format - will post more up when Ive a chance to type it all down.

Need to get back on this, ive done the first 30 days twice now, then taken the rest week a little to literally!
Used to sit in an office all day so had loads of energy when i got home, but now im on my feet for 8 hours, all i want to do when i get home is sit down!

i swear solid concistant training, is better than these 90day fixes.

It works because people who don't really know where to start need a routine laid out for them that takes no thought - essentially having a personal trainer. I agree that people would see better initial results with a steady 5x5 lifting program but a complete beginner would struggle doing the movements properly and wouldn't have the confidence to go heavy enough.
I agree that a long term strategy is better than a 90 magic bullet, but a lot of people are unwilling to take a complete lifestyle change and want a quick hit, which, is better than nothing I guess. Anyone who's been through it will agree that the only way to get good lasting results is hard work.
You could argue that consistency is actually a bad thing (after the initial phase) as your body gets used to the workload/movements. Muscle confusion is a contentious point, but IMO it works well.

isnt a lot of this based on diet any way just like normally going to the gym?
if people want an easy way with the excersises there not going to make much gains if they cant follow the diet either.
surely someone starting out would benifit from a steady 3 - 4 beginners program in the gym focused around compound excersises to give them a good foundation.
not to mention this all seems a bit of a fanny on and a lot more complicated than going to the gym 4 days a week and lifting weights for 45 mins and then cardio 3 times a week.
just my thoughts though.
