Author urgent help needed 1.4 16v ignition problems

car struggles to start and when it does the fault light comes on and it cuts out. after about 6 attempts it will start and then its fine but every time the ignition is turned off i have the SAME problem. Anybody know what the problem is? its a 1.4 16v. any help would be most appreciate.

get in to vaux garage and read the code.

after that youll know whats going on.

Read the fault codes yourself.

Its not an neccesarily a ignition problem, just a starting one, probably got a dodgy sensor. Is it the same whether its hot or cold?
