ive got some 6.5" infinity coaxels in my car at the mo, ive got the adaptors needed to make them fit, but it seems as tho that isnt enough.. it is imposible to fully screw all the sides of this adaptor to the door. thus making it impossible to fit the speaker grills on 100%

wat can i do to sort this out??

the speakers probably don't fit throuugh the ring, my bro had this prob on his C with adapter rings.

Just trim the ring down a little and see if it fits.

Have u measured the magnet to be totally sure it wont fit through the hole? Sometimes putting it in on an angle will get it through

But whatever you do i dont suggest you cut metal out of the door as this will probably affect the reliability of the car's impact handling if you were to crash.

i was installing it yesterday, and my mate who i was doing it with was like...."just take a hammer or saw to the dorr, it'll be fine"... i thought.. na, not doing that.. i tried it at every angle...

not sure wat else to do, i attached them to the adaptors to "make them fit" and i could only screw one side of them to the door.... hmmm

any ideas?

It would have to be custom door builds then, or swap the speakers for ones with smaller magnets.
