I should be getting my new mongoose backbox tomorrow.
I'm gonna try and fit it myself, as i now have axle stands and trolley jack.
Can anyone offer any tips? Is it a case of banging old one off, and new one fitting straight on? Are there any materials i need?
Cheers

get a new set of exzorst mountin rubbers
a tin - or tube of exzorst pate
and u unbolt the old one take off rubbers
and rest it ona axel stand so it dont sit funny causing damage
then bash it twist it pull it
itll eventually come off
the clean up the pipe ure left with smear exzorst paste onto it push on the exzorst fit new rubbers make sure it sits right add a bit more pasteand then bolt up the new clamp.

its a peice of pish job to do but to be honest it aint worth the trouble take it to any quick fit and they will do it for 15 squid, its lazy but it will save you loads of time to drive around with your new noise maker lookin for new mods. you know it makes sense!!
