im gettin my car ready to sell bak 2 standard. when i turn on the radio now, it says safe??
i know now that i need a code, but where is it??

It's a little piece of card board the size of a credit card with all important codes etc on

yeh i bought the car 2nd hand. jus found that bit of card that ure talkin about. but how do i now key the code in? ive jus had a go, n the head unit aint respondin to anything??

sounds like it's locked you might have to get it unblocked

1.switch the ignition on
2.turn radio off
3.turn radio on while keeping the AS button depressed for 3 seconds
4.Enter each digit of the code using the radio station control each depression of the control will raise the digit
5. keep the AS control depressed until the confirmation signal is given
This is for cdr 500 might b different for a different headunit if you have different 1 i can let you know got the audio manual

My dad just got his old HU put back in his Vectra and he needs to reinput his code, but cant find it anywhere..... id there anyone he can contact that will be able to tell him it?? Or is he just F*cked??..... as he needs it working obviously.
What can he do??

he can go to any radio shop..like kingstone car sound down newland ave..they will decode ur radio for u

visit ur vaux dealer with the chassis# and proof of ownership and they'll give u the code

Ha ha i used to charge £10 to get a radio code. it was at my company but i still charged people. i had to make a quick buck somewhere!!! he he shhhhhhhh
