i filled up at esso..full right till the dial reads full...by half way i usually would have done about 140-150..but this time...i filled up at BP only done 80 and the need already reads half full...! is it my driving? i have lost 60 miles!!!!

heavy right foot? Hot weather causes increaded fuel consumption as the engine runs hotter.

some pumps are more sensitive to the back pressure that makes them click and stop supplying fuel, maybe this is the case and you didnt actually fill the tank completely, maybe enough to show as full tank but only just??

well i normally fill up till the pump stops...
but i swear..i can usually use it 140 miles to half tank now 80! omg

i get 100 mile out ov a tenner tank takes bout 28quid tops i can get bout 300 mile outa a tank thats right down to the red and i aint a slow driver

probably didnt fill it to the top! first half ov the dial on my car goes down quiker than the second half its weird

You just put the new wheels on? they would be the cause, for a starter they dont give an accurate speedo or oddometer reading and they extra force used in turning the heavy alloys sucks petrol. On my 1.2 16V B i got 230-240 miles out of a full tank (£30) on 17's, Ive sold them and currently run on 14" steels where I get 300 miles out of a tankfull (£30) everytime!
