I think my old one might be on the way out (slow starting when car has been left but will start fine when driven around for a bit)...
Is it worth getting something like a diesel battery in there from a bigger car (Cavalier or something similiar? Hopefully getting a conversion done shortly so may need a bigger one anyway...
Is it worth buying a Vauxhall one...any idea how much/would it fit...

hey mate, well your looking at about £45-50 for a new battery to replace your original one. dunno about putting a larger one in there but if your having a conversion done soon, might as well leave your battery on charge over night, then take it for a long run the day after. might just be the cold weather were getting now sapped some of the power. least this way your not shelling out on a new battery beofre your conversion

but ur alternator might not charge such a big battery

get the next one up like me. think its 76amps or somthing in that region.
cost me £66 for vauxhall.
i need lots of power thats all for my boot install and ps2.
