Dear Ms Bates & Mr Brattan

Thank you for your letter dated 12 September which obviously I was very disappointed to recieve. I will be making further investigations and speaking to the member of staff concerned to hear his comments.

Billing Aquadome does promote itself as a family park and our gate staff have a difficult job at times enforcing our policy of "no all female or male parties". I appreciate yours was a mixed party and I am very sorry you felt you were treated unfairly.

Please be assured that I will be looking into this matter and in the meantime I hope you will accept my apologies on belaf of Billing Aquadome for any disprution caused to you and your friends' weekend.

Should we be happy with this? I think it's a pretty much standard reply and if Trotty has got the same/similar one I will be writing to them again!

Thats an appalling (Sp?) attempt, bet they don't send out half assed letters like that when its a family or old couple that make a complaint! I'd write back asking for an apology from the members of staff concerned and make a mention that ours is (apparently) an equal opportunities society so no form of discrimination should be tolerated

Is it me or does his surname appear to rhyme with 'Jackass' if you look at it quickly

It is an unsatisfactory reply. I'd have been looking in to it first and writing later. That letter should say 'I'm writing again next week to tell you how far I kicked his ass', not 'I'll speak to him and might do'.
