You would need to know if there was a port open for that sort of application, then you would need to set the proxy details in MSN. All our firewalls at work are locked down, there are no open ports for Kazaa, MSN etc. Probably the same for you.

I take it you're at work? If so, there is nothing you can do. You need to open the port on the firewall.

its defo 443 I had this problem at home with messenger 6, and as usual microsoft dont make it easy to find out the port number needed. although they do tell you the ports for chatting, webcam, and file sharing, just not logging on????
