Since the fuel costs are going up today, Britain's motorists are being urged to stop their cars at 8.30am (Wednesday) in rush hour traffic.

but it's a joke...... oh yea lets ban smoking in lots of places, hike up fuel prices..... ffs.... if every1 quit smoking, n stopped driving, they'd be in serious trouble, all that tax they won't be getting

I might.

I leave my house just before 8.30, so at 8.30 I might actually be buying petrol!! Actually, it'll probably be petrol and a small bag of Haribo.

the last petrol thing was funny... were no one cud get petrol... but me rents could cos they werk in a hospital so we had a letter giving us permission to get petrol

I'd rather participate in a rolling cruise along the motorways - I suppose in rush hour some motorways aren't moving anyway

the last serious petrol shortage a few of years ago, my stepdad got his hands on a tanker from somewhere. Was hidden in south london area!
