My mate is selling a saxo VTR, it looks really nice,

its white, i don't like white personally but there aren't many white saxo VTR's around here and it is certainly the best i've seen in white round here.

it is a 1998 model,
52K
he's put a £700 sound system in it.

he wants £3800 for it but said he'll give it to me for £3500,
Is this a good price ??

Only problem is, the insurance will be high won't it?? i have no NCB
Any advice on cheap insurance will be welcome

I know personally 3 different people who own MK1 VTR's

2 have leaky sunroofs, all 3 have noisy tappets, the build quality is generally poor with the door cards rattling and the dashboards arent screwed together very well at all.

They do however handle very well, brake very well, and look fairly smart as standard.

just a few pros & cons for you to chew on

so as a rally/track car theyed be good
but as a comfort raod car there crap

??????pay wot now? i only asked them y'day about my mods and im paying monthly, i'll just get a quote from sumwhere else covering my mods and cancel my existing insurance
