right my car is really shit, the zorst is knocking all the time, becase the back box has kind of snaped in two, so its rattling on the rear axle. i was wondering if the 1L zorst is all one pipe, and anyone know how much to fix it?

get another back box from vaux (£32)
think its in 3 bits (not sure tho!)
bastardz to get the pipes apart (you need lots of wd40, elbow grease, sawing, hammering, and a lot of swearing!)
than get some replacement rubber slips to hold it on!

the back box has the rubber buits on, so your saying i can just get a replacment backbox and rip the old one off and swap it over?

Yes! but dont destroy centre section of the exhaust!!! i wouldnt actually chop thru the zorst pipe as its meant to be that lenght. instead put a slit on the backbox where it fits onto the centre section. then twist until you get it off.
ive done it once, but never again!
go to a garage mate, so much simpler.
and you may as well get a stainless rage backbox!
oh and wd40 is vital, to ease the joints.

well turns out my back box has snapped, causing the main pipe form the engine to snap, and thats a big job costing around 240for part and labour. but i said i'll get my own back box and and they can fit it so he said it will be between 250 and 350 to do it all.

what! i paid £100 at quickfit. that got me a backbox and centre section + Fitting!
do you mean the manifold has snapped?
