One of the mods i was looking at doing to my car was repositioning the fuel cap in the rear pasenger window. Only problem is, that i am not sure weather the rear glass can be cut or not? If not what can i do?

I might be wrong, but isn't perspex illegal to use on a street car, something to do with how it splinters if broken?
Even if I'm wrong, perspex will scratch very easily, plus it isn't UV tolerant. Exposure to sunlight makes it brittle. The best option would be polycarbonate (lexan) this is the stuff they use for bullet proof glass in banks etc. Its much more scratch resistant and virtually indestructible.

Just had a thought... With the rear window being made out of perspex, do you thik this will effect my insurance because of security?
Also i got a quote for a perspex window to be cut and supplied with a dimma cap in it for £161. Is this good?
