Hi,
i was looking forward to buying a Corsa Sri / sport or even GSi b shape for my 1st car, but after getting quotes from insurance companies i may have 2 go for somthing with a smaller engine??
most companies have quoted me £4k+ and i am 20 goin onto 21 within a couple of months.
Endsleigh insurance have quoted me the cheapest so far at £2700 full comp.
but that still is more expensive then wot im gona pay for the car.
any sugestions into why it may cost so much

2700 is cheap for your first, if you want an SRi! My first car was a clio 1.2 and it was 3500. You're gonna pay a high amount whatever you get really, as its a first car. Just get something smaller, have it a year, then get something bigger....

Its £1200 for me 3rd party, first car first year of driving. I hear its 20% less with a years no claims.
How about the Pass-Plus? You can sometimes get 30% off, which is a lot.
