i put my active black head unit in (old style) now it wont let me do anything and keeps flashing CODE IN.

any suggestions

how many times have u got the code wrong? cos everytime u get it wrong u have to leave it on longer b4 u can input it,

ie first time maybe 20 seconds, 2nd attempt 3 minutes, 3rd attempt 1 hour, 4th attempt 12 hours etc...

its called "soaking" u have too leave it on for ages b4 u can input the code.

but ya cant put a code in it aint got no numbers and i bought it 2nd hand!

code wont be numbers, it will be a combo of buttons.

sounds like its a hot one to me fella. only thing u can do is take it too a specialist shop and get them to unlock it.

there is no specific code, your headunit will have its own unique one. as said it needs to be done by a specialist, they have to take em to bits etc...
