i want to paint my engine cover like stoneygingers. Do i need special paint to withstand the heat?

i just used plastic primer and noraml body paint from halfords when i did mine, and it was ok for the 3months i had it on for! took it off when i put my lexmaul on

yeah, rub it down and they primer etc...folow cobra's guide

yep mate, its fine, just rub it down well and use plastic primer!!!!

nah that is a 16v rocker and is way too big for an 8v like yours, just tidy up bits and pieces but there is only so much you can do like i have on mine. I sprayed the water and oil caps silver and the manifold cover then just cleaned all the lines etc
