had my window smashed about 5 months back and they took all the stuff out my glovebox including service book.vauxhall now reckon that my warranty is void because i carn't prove that the car has been serviced by them.thing is i thought they would just be able to go on there database and find my cars details to show it had been serviced by them. they say they carn't find any records.what a load of bollox do you think there trying it on

thats what i thought and then they charged me £9.40 for a duplicate service book

It's true what they are saying they do use the service history book to prove whether the car is covered under warranty. Why don't you just show them receipt for your service.

If you had the car serviced at a Vaux dealer then they will have a record on their system. All my servicing and purchases come up when they put in my details. If all fails phone Vauxhall UK direct and ask to speak to manager. They must have to keep everything logged for VAT reasons.

look at the reg plate or the tax disc holder maybe the garage name is on there

good idea mate,i know it's not on the tax disc holder but i think it's on the plates
