was about to change brakes to 2.0 spec. but disks are same size as standard corsa gsi (256mm) are calipers any different? are there any benefits in changing?

astra GTE/GSI are 256x24mm

Corsa GSI are 256x20mm

the astra ones are more efficent

the corsa gsi brakes are 256x20mm and astra ones are 256x24. id keep the standard gsi ones or get v6 or turbo ones instead as there is no point buying new/2nd hand gte brakes for the sake of 4mm. I had them on mine and didnt notice any different, so i swapped them back
