Don't be a trained monkey on the phones, you will get nothing out of it and it will bore you.
I'm 20 and on £15.5k get good nefits (gym, good pension blah blah) (everyone else was dropping in how much they earn )
If I were you i would stay doing something skilled like plumber, interesting (i.e no day the same probably, and alot of money in it )

a load of people up here earn 15k but they have to sit on the telephone all day in a call centre and put their hand up if they need the toilet
ok money for a teenager but one hell of a boring job

No he means your business would have to take £500k before you could pay yourself £40k pa.

Try the Prison Service. After 7 years, I have a good rank and now earn the best part of 30k and get to sort out scrotes who nick cars for a living. What better time could there be?
