my sisters bf has offered me a kicker 12" L5 boxed for £50
i've currently got a JL W3 version 1
you recon this will be a good upgrade as i know i can sell the W3 for £100
opinons please

sounds like a pretty good deal to me, although make sure you hear the sub running and check it for any blow bits etc. Also, see if you can try it with a fair amount of juice going to it (up to the RMS limit obviously) and again check it 
but yea sounds like a good deal
