I was gonna get the cupra 2.0 16v this summer..... but descided to save up and get the 1.8 20VT instead!

My mate had the rally lookalike 2.0 8v and they are meant to shift like sh1t

dont bother its only got 115 bhp, get the 2l 16v or the 1.8 16v as these are much quicker, i just did an insurance quote on the 2.0 8v and 16v and there was only 100 quid in it.

1189 quid for me on a 2.0 16v ibiza cupra at 21 with no no claims, 1104 on the 8v

mk3 golf gti 2.0 16v is what you want. 150bhp as opposed to the cupras 136bhp

is that 136bhp not the 2.0 16v that is found in the corrado and uses a smaller inlet manifold (42mm) for more low down torque as opposed to the 51mm found on the golf

i used to have an 8v gti!

lovelt lookin went pretty well.

thinking of gettin the 1.8 20v turbo next!

i read up ibzas use the same engines as vws around that time so cud very well b the corrado lump

can get the 90 bhp model too 145 bhp without even doing any major engine work, all you need is 2.5 tdi multi van injectors and a superchips custom remap.

bout a grand for that lot.

erm, seat have always used german engines. they used to use porsche works engines, now they use vw engines as they are part of VAG now.
