Right im thinking of gettin my boot smoothed fully and placing my number plate on the rear bumper, Will i need 2 light it up? also will i get done of the cops?

Yes you will require a light for MOT purposes.
The cops may also pull you over at night if they are following you and your number plate is not lite., £30 on the spot fine, plus a rectification notice.
Having said that I got away without one for a year

Cheers mate, the only thing is ive just got the standard sport rear bumper and i dont have a clue how im going to fit a light to the plate?u hav any idea?

canny any 1 post me sum rear bumpers made for the rear number plate to sit in which has a light located in it?
Thanks its just im gettin it smoothed in 1 week and i didnt even think about it till 2day

You can buy small light up screws which u cud use to light the plate up.
Other than that most bumper have been modifed to take the plate and a light above it...

RIGHT IM KINDA WIV U,SO WHERE CAN I GET THEM FROM?ALSO DO THEY JUST CLIP ON THE NUMBER PLATE OR DO THEY HAVE TO BOLT IN THE BUMPER?

it wud look abit silly tbh, id save up and get a recessed aftermarket bumper the same time u smooth ur boot wud cause alot less hassle
