Hi,

I've just fitted some 6x9's rated at 150w. Does this mean if I buy an amp I need one with 150wx2 out put or just 150wx1?

Also is it possible to connect an amp to a standard sxi headunit?

150wx2 means two channels, so if there is two 6x9s, yes.

You dont need to stick to 150w, you can go lower or slightly higher within reason.
