Need to finally get my insurance sorted, for last 2 years ive been on my old dears!!! Im 19, no no-claims . Want fully comp on L plate GSI, with 15's, custom stainless exhaust, clear lights, leather buckets and not really sure i should tell them about the NoS tho!! What do you guys think?? Are elephant.com good?? I know its not gona be cheap.....

liverpool victoria are good for the fact they dont care what mods u do to engine or body as long as u dont increase engine cc or number of valves

thanx guys, tried online quote with london victoria, elephant.com seem ok, around 1k fully comp although that was on a standard GSI .

Hang on Liverpool Victoria Wouldnt insure me cos i had engine mods they said any thing goes except engine mods
I pay £1100 fully comp on my M-reg GSI exhaust, mantzel, viper induction kit, fully-rebuilt engine, alloys lights supension brakes told them about every thing EXCEPT my 6 points which they dont need to kow about till renewal
Cars valued at £4500 i am 21 and have 3 years no claims bonus
I am with Highway insurance got them through Performace direct

im insured with liv vic, i tried to tell them bout my engine mods but they said they didnt care so long as i had the receipts. Im 19 paying £1040 1yr NCD (2 in feb) fully comp on 1.4 SRi

IMO If you are going to mod your car do NOT go with Norwich Union they are ok for standard cars but when you do anything to your car they start being very very ghey!

Just quoting your sig, if your with NU have you declared all your mods? They told me I could only declare 3 non engine performance mods MAX and if I were to lower my car then they would NOT inusre me whatsovever!
