Three days ago my mate completely wrote off his corsa!
three years of his money down the drain it was a minter too!

Scenario

coming up to a cross road a bloke in a clio tried to race with my un-fortunate friend.....not taking him on the geeza then proceeded to cut him up before the lights.manageing to clip my mates front end sending him spinning into on comming traffic..... needless to say the car was minced and the driver who caused it drove from the scene without anyone being able to get his Reg details. the problem being my dense friend forgot to tell his insurance company about his mods making his insurance void! for two years he has to pay off a car that he doesn't even have and accept all charges for the driver that he hit head on!

Moral of the story

DECLARE ALL OF YOUR MODS TO YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY ! ! !

for the few extra quid is it worth getting a x-mas present like that !

Thats a bummer for your mate

Insurers will use any excuse not to pay out. Its best to declare any alteration you do from standard, no matter how small it is.

Does include wheels, he has declared them though, not such performance enhancing but better grip etc, you can esentially corner harder and faster

I would talk to them sometimes they wont allow you to do anything, sometimes you can do anything but touch the engine, normally the engine is a no go area
