you shouldnt race in any weather as the results will always be horrific. if you think youre that good a driver, you should have respect for the roads and other road users and keep your racing for track days where its done in a controlled environment. thats the responsible attitude that us car drivers should all undertake

Agreed there! is real bad that, certainly makes me think even though I aint driving at the mo!

I have a rough idea what his mates are going through, I lost a good friend of mine in a traffic accident, not through speeding, but black ice on the road, spun out & crashed into some iron railings (duno if ya know cheshire much, but there are many iron railing things, black & white painted, usually to divide fields n so-on where roads go down the middle), well he spun out on a corner & went into some @ 30mph

since then I never stuck to the limit driving when its freezing, i either try not to drive or stick about 10mph below the norm speed limit or whatever i feel is safest, even if it does annoy other road users, i'd rather live myself than crash out.

Sorry but doesnt make me think at all as I wouldnt drive into a roundabout at 100mph in any weather certainly not in the ice.
(thats how I read the post not that its well written)

What makes me think more is the two drivers who while racing in grimsby/hull? One of them crashed out into central reservation killing to innocent girls.
Those girls were doing nothing wrong they did not deserve to die!
