This is providing BT has an enabled exchange within 4.5 km of your property in terms of wire routing not phyiscal distance.

Also, ensure you have no other incompatible products on your line such as ISDN, Multiplexors, etc

we just got a 1meg line at home.. upgrading to a 2meg next month
