HIC just quoted me 1400 TPFT for my 1.2 8v corsa. I paid 600 quid last year with endsleigh. They say my postcode (OL) is in the worst rating, why? its dead round ere. Anyone know anymore good insurance comps. Liverpool vic quoted 750 thats still shit!!

Is that an Oldham postcode? If so then yes it is one of the worst in the UK.

Try Tesco.

Elephant were pretty good for me.
Just got a few quotes for a new car from them.
106 GTI - £1169
N/A 2.0 MR2 0 £991

Thats fully comp, im 20 0 no claims

yeah its oldham, but i live in milnrow which isnt in oldham. tesco are on my list but they are still a bit too xpensive.

Milnrow's just up the road from where I work, just outside Rochdale!

I've moved from North Wales, to Farnworth, and Liv Vic bumped my policy up by £86 for the final 6 months, despite me changing from "parked on driveway" to "locked in garage"!

dont bother with tesco if you have loads of mods, tok me 20mins to tell them all mods cuz the guy i spoke to hadnt got a clue, then they ran out of room for mods and in the end couldnt quote because i didnt know exact bhp figures also they said i needed to get a tracker. girlfriend is with thm though and they have been very good.
