How do i go about creating a boot.ini file? I read on the net this is what i need to do to fix a computer with a missing boot file....

Create the below boot.ini file on the floppy diskette drive.

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect

Just write it in notepad and save it as boot.ini rather than .txt.
