Part Exchanged my car a couple of weeks back for £2200 on a £7000 new car. My corsa was a S reg 1998 5 door Corsa, met green, 1.2 LS with full leather trim (which was cruffed to fook in places) a few silver bits (door pins, handles, knob) electric tilt and slide sun roof! and fully colour coded
and there now selling it for £2800

Whats wrong with that? They will probably get knocked down on price to £2500-2600 then they wil have to service your old corsa and put it through an MOT, perhaps provide a warranty?

nothing wrong with it! I only paid £2000 for it 3 years ago and added an extra 30k miles to it! still sad to see it driving around by someone else!

well part exchange is the easiest way to get rid of your car but i guess its the most costly. I know what you mean about seeing other people drive it, some ned has my old zx 16v now and drives around thinking hes the daddy

I made £200 on it so I didn't loose out, I know that pretty lucky to get the amount I did for it considering it was in a crash and bought from a salvage centre and you can still see the damage in the engine bay

The Corsa's seem to keep there value, my dad bought a Calibra V6 for £10,500 a few years ago, had to sell it after a year and the garage gave him £7.500, then put it on the forecourt for £9,500 the next week! Thats bad!
