Wot's the sound of a magnex 6x4 oval backbox like on a 8v corsa b. with a k&N on aswel. cheers

the magnex is actually only 5 x 3 on the corsa i got one sounds real nice not loud but deep thats what magnex are famous for the sound

they did a 6x4 originally, they stopped making it and now make a 5x3, so he may have the old 6x4

I've got the small 3" round magnex with a K&N induction kit, took it to a rolling road along with the VxlSCC with various V6's, turbos, etc, mine sounded one of the loudest but a big difference was when it was at 5000rpm it just got deeper and louder, the others got tinny above 5000rpm, I didnt lift the bonnet so everybody crouded round the computer expecting huge BHP figures, they were a tad suprised when it came out about 90BHP Although I might have blown the baffles out of the rest of the standard system, so yes they sound awesome!

I've got the magnex....5 x 3 back box.
cost around £140 i think....
its on my corsa sri 1.4 8v and fits striaght on!
I hvaent got an induction kit on (just the standard air box) but the sound is nice.
when u 1st start up in the morning the zhost sounds nice and smooth!
the once ur car is heated up nicely the sound gets deeper.
its not the loudest exhausts in the world when u drive around at around 3k revs....but if u start to pick the revs up to over 4k, the sound it very very nice and throaty.
i like it...it doesnt sound cheap and loud like most exhuasts.
if ur after a loud exhuast, dont go for this unless u have a 2.0. but if u want a nice pitch note when u driving round....then buy!
