I have just got some Speedline Allesios (16" et49) for my Corsa.
I wanna lower in between 30mm to 40mm. Possibly 45mm. Don't what the car to be to hard when driving, don't want the arches to scrub. Want it to handle better though on windy roads and cornering.
What kit do I go for? I've heard APEX is bouncy. PI are cheap.
I have heard KONI are good. Would you recomend this? Should be fine with 16" wheels et49?

Agreed ^ good setup. I'd definatley get adjustable dampers, I would go for Koni. 40mm WILL outhandle most 60mm drop kits unless running coilovers

I'll tell you something else aswell. Ive found that the rear suspension has more of an influence than the front.... Everyone thinks that the front is most important as thats where the drive/steer is but in terms of ride the rear is MOST important as that is where most of the weight is shifted to...

One of my mates has just recomended spax.
£285 below for a full kit of fixed springs.

However, are Eibach springs and adjustable dampers better?
If I buy the 40mm springs, then the adjustable dampers can only be set at 40mm am i correct?

I may buy the Eibach springs for now. Fit them and see how I get on with it lowered. If I'm happy (and I'll have more money) then I'll get the adjustable konis too!

goot idea, i had springs for a few years then got my konis, far better with the konis, but its an improvement from standard with just springs, alltho a little harsh.
