This car, the punto Gt is a turbo?

What engine is actually in it?

What kinda performance can you get from them?

Any help would be appreciated

1400 8v turbo, performance wise u get what u pay for for reliability, or u could just up the boost and have a boost chucker which would last 5minutes

Its a T2 turbo. They produce 130 to 136bhp depending on the year of manufacture.

They are also group 14 insurance which is high

Punto GT (1372cc) uses an IHI RHB5-VL7 turbo. intercooled also.

GT1=136hp
GT2=133hp
GT3=130hp

car is fine so long as it is looked after. boost can be upped a bit with suitable fueling as well. 160hp is cheap to get.

insurance is 14 and can be expensive depending on age

my GT does 60 in mid 7s, 1/4 mile in 15.2s @ 93mph, 100 in 18-19s or so. not the fatest off the line but suprisingly quick in gear.
