Just got home and i'm very annoyed.

3 weeks ago my corsa sport broke down.

Into Vaux it went. Needed a new ecu. Also got new brake pads fitted and an oil n filter change while it was in there.

Cost £622 and didnt have car for just over a week.

Last week I noticed I had an oil leak.

Booked it into a local garage, went in yesterday found out it needed a new rocker cover gasket. They said they would receive the part the next day.
Picked my car up at about 3pm this aft and all is well.

Untill.......

Driving along 2nd gear into 3rd and bang!

Yet another drive shaft. The 2nd in 1 and a half years.

I am sorry for writing loads. Its just i am currently unemployed and seeking a job in I.T.

I get £43 a week jobseekers allowance. Have no savings and have all these bills to pay.

Nice.

I'm not sure what to do with my car now.

Do I Get it fixed and carry on?

or

Do I get it fixed and put it back to standard. Less strain on the drive shaft as it is down 60mm on 15's at the mo.

I really like my 1.4 sport.

Quite nippy as far as 1.4's go.
e/w, e/h/m, c/l, imob, s/r etc.

Its just its caused me so much hassle over the 2 years i've owned it.

Bought it on 34k 98 S reg.

36k timing belt went. Bent all valves, damaged head etc.

Been through 2 drive shafts,

Needed new Rocker Cover gasket,

New ECU.

Then the little annoying things like the deadlock mechanism. Parts are only £7.50 but in this weather I wouldnt like to strip the door card and lock.

I'm just rambling now. lol

Ah well, I guess things will change once I get into a new job and have some mullah coming in.

Cheers Sam.
